Malgorzata Dancewicz has a long career as a creator and performer and has worked in traditionalcomposition, improvisation, acousmaticmusic, spokenword, and experimentalvideo. She will present Peripheries, a performance that seeks meaning in the avant-garde creative methods of women. It explores audiovisual art and narrative and questions the effect of new technologies on women's creativity and whether classifying music by gender still makes sense.
