LEM 2025: CIBRÁN + LAURA LLANELI

Cibrán is the union of Riccardo Massari Spiritini, an acoustic and electronic music composer and performer with an over 30 years career; and Adrià Bofarull, an electroacoustic musician who has been disseminating his sonic flow with diverse conceptual undertones for years. Together, they create a shifting and spontaneous sound ensemble that dissolves like a jellyfish in the sun or frantically enters dark corridors, never passing through the same place twice.

Llaneli explores the relationship between the sonic-musical experience and contemporary visual art practices. She returns to LEM to present Pulsos, a sound performance that highlights electromagnetic sounds that remain hidden from the human ear. As electronics have become ubiquitous, they have multiplied and spread, generating a mass of sounds, interferences, clicks and rhythmic sequences that form the backbone of this composition.
