LEM 2026: HULM + CUNNINGHAM/VOLT/SERRA

A dreamlike music trio born in 2020 as a result of the lockdown, HULM originates from the experiments of Joan Torné (electronics), Edu Pons (alto and soprano sax), and Ernest Pipó (electric guitar and synthesizer). Their cornerstone is recombination, embarking on deep yet ephemeral journeys, with a clarity as brilliant as it is fleeting. They’ll premiere their 4th album: La maniobra de Heimlich.

Mark Cunningham (trumpet), ex-Don King, a major name in NY’s No Wave scene Blood Quartet’s soul. Pablo Volt Pope (trumpet and fiscorn), a DIY explorer we’ve seen with Coure, Altaba-Valera-Volt or Barba Corsini. Andreu G. Serra (strings and saxophone), from Or Sobre Blau or Ubaldo. An extremely powerful trio that remains rooted in jazz despite all the pedals, delays, and effects. An explosive combination arriving with their first LP: Introspective Movement, Nonchalant Steps.
